Day 978 | Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 96 new infections in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, a total of 96 new COVID-19 infections have been detected, of which 37 from the Community and 59 imported, which brings the cumulative confirmed to 546,733, 748 active cases, while the number of recovered stands at 540,000 25 patients , thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

He reported that the 96 community cases are located in: Zulia 6, Miranda 5, Carabobo 4, Falcón 3, Yaracuy 3, among others that are shown in the following slide:

Zulia today has the highest number of infections in four of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo 3, Rocío de Perijá 1, Santa Rita 1 and Lagunillas 1.

Of the 59 imported cases, eight are from the Dominican Republic, three from Spain, 30 from Panama, 16 from Türkiye and two from Cuba, all of which entered from La Guaira.

He published that to date, 474 asymptomatic patients have been reported, 145 with mild acute respiratory failure, 78 with moderate acute respiratory failure, and 51 in intensive care.

In week 139 and day 978 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general stats:
