Darmstadt (ots) –
A 54-year-old resident of an apartment in Darmstadt suffered life-threatening injuries after a fire broke out there on Friday evening (02/11/2022) for reasons that are still unclear. The fire brigade was able to quickly extinguish the fire during its operation at Steubenplatz and rescue the woman who was alone in her apartment. Due to the severity of the injuries, she had to be taken to a special clinic. Local residents alerted the emergency services shortly after 11:30 p.m. after they became aware of smoke development. Other people were not injured. The police are investigating the cause.
