The author of the book, Daiga Mazvērsīte, graduated from Jāzeps Mediņš College of Music and the Latvian State Conservatory with a degree in musicology. Has published many articles, reviews and interviews with musicians. He works for Latvian Radio, where he creates programs about Latvian popular music. She has written several books related to music, including books about the group “Jumprava”, composer Raimonds Pauls and singer Ieva Akurateris.
