A rubbish lorry caught fire on the A2 on Thursday. The driver then emptied his garbage truck onto the highway, and firefighters put out the burning load.
The lorry was on fire just before the Batadorp interchange, towards the A58 towards Tilburg. Firefighters arrived at the scene with two fire engines and a fire engine. The fire produced a lot of smoke.
More than an hour late

On Thursday, nationwide, most of the traffic jams occurred in the south of the country. Shortly after eight o’clock there were more than 820 kilometers of traffic jams nationwide, well below the record of 972 kilometers set on November 17.
