“We expected an escalation, but not such a radical move, this is not usual,” commented Croatian Foreign Minister Grlic Radman on the occasion of the expulsion of the first secretary of the Croatian Embassy in Serbia, Hrvoj Schneider, BGNES reported.

“We have decided to declare the adviser of the Serbian embassy in Croatia persona non grata.
“The note was delivered to the ambassador and it says that the adviser must leave the territory of the Republic of Croatia,” Radman emphasized.

“We were not given a reason for the expulsion of the Croatian diplomat,” he added: “The Croatian ambassador was not given a reason, it was said that he did not need to motivate himself. We don’t know the reasons for the decision, which is even more worrying.”
