SUBANG, KOMPAS.TV – The murder case of a mother and child in Subang Regency, West Java, is still a mystery. Police are still investigating to uncover the killer of the two.
Padjadjaran University (Unpad) criminologist Yesmil Anwar suspects the murder of Tuti Suhartini and Amalia Mustika Ratu as a case of premeditated murder.

It is known that the case of premeditated murder is regulated in Article 340 of the Criminal Code. The penalty is a minimum of 20 years in prison, life imprisonment, and a maximum sentence of death.
On his suspicion, Yesmil required the police to find the motive behind the murder of the mother and child.
Yesmil explained that there are three main motives involved in every case of premeditated murder.
First, there is a motive for social relations. Second, romance. Finally, the motive for power and wealth.
“The three motives have always been the background of people committing crimes,” said Yesmil Anwar, quoted from TribunJabar on Sunday (5/9/2021).

“Thus, the police must explore the possibility of the three motives.”
