Morales does not know where he has been infected and despite two rapid tests that were negative and some natural medicines, he also did not feel that in his body the “damn virus” was undermining a part of his lungs, visibly damaged according to an ultrasound.
He appreciates the luck of entering “with great difficulty” the emergency section of the Cotahuma hospital, where he was quickly admitted to a therapy room to receive medication and oxygen.
“I am with the very good care they give in the hospital. If it were not the hand of doctors and workers, many people would have left. I have seen how many companions who died and had to be removed, “he said from his bed.
Despite the moment he is going through, Alex Morales encourages himself to “bend his arm to the coronavirus and leave in two or three weeks to return to union life”, after fully recovering.
He affirms that “many think that only with painkillers, you kill or inhaling salt and other things they can be healed. They are good because they are natural preventive medicines, but what I have learned is that you first have to see your lung. This is what an ultrasound is for and when we already have 25% of the infected lung as mine, it is serious. When the virus enters the lungs, even if you take a thousand mates, a thousand inhalations of salt, it is already superficial, ”he said.
Alex says he did two quick tests at home but eventually had to go to a private lab where a PCR test finally came back positive. Until then, the virus had been in his body for a week.
He said that at the Cotahuma Hospital, the internist doctor supplies him with antibiotics necessary to clot the blood and the disease.
“I am a strong man of character and will, I have faith. But never trust the quick test because I wasted time and if I had done it in the moment, today it would be different. I recommend that people take care of themselves because everywhere is the damn coronavirus, ”he said in a kind of message to the population.
