Coronarivus: despite the holidays, the” Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Health Agency always calls for vigilance in the face of the epidemic. According to the latest figures published on Tuesday, 344 people are currently hospitalized in our region, including 16 placed in intensive care. Since the start of the epidemic, 974 hospitalized people have died, including four last week, and 22,591 people tested positive, including 1,137 more people compared to the last report on August 11.
In the Hautes-Alpes
According to figures from the ARS, five people are hospitalized. This is one more than the previous week. One patient was placed in intensive care. Since the start of the epidemic, 18 people have died in the department and 135 have returned home. Regarding nursing homes, 25 residents have tested positive for Covid-19, 22 are hospitalized. The Regional Health Agency notes 10 deaths among residents of the Hautes-Alpes, including one in a retirement home and nine in the hospital. The incidence rate is 14.1 (14.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
In the Alpes de Haute-Provence
According to figures from the ARS, four people are hospitalized. No patient is placed in intensive care. Since the start of the epidemic, 13 people have died in the department and 133 have returned home. Regarding nursing homes, 24 residents have tested positive for Covid-19, 8 are hospitalized. The Regional Health Agency notes five deaths among residents of the Lower Alps, all in retirement homes. The incidence rate is 28.5 (28.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
