A total of 51 people are admitted in Navarre due to covid, one more than a week ago. In addition, two of them are in the ICU.
The latest data from the Public Health Institute on this disease show a decrease in infections diagnosed in Primary Care. Thus, it has gone from 253 cases per hundred thousand inhabitants in the week of July 17 to 23, when the previous one was 59 cases, to 151 affected per hundred thousand, between July 24 and 30. These are the cases attended but there may be more. In the middle of San Fermín, infections began to increase and so did hospital admissions. Last week 17 people had to be admitted to treat the disease. They are less than the previous one, when they amounted to 31. But it must be taken into account that in the first week of July only 2 people were admitted due to covid.
In addition, they registered 2 deaths due to this illness that add up to the 3 of the previous week.
It also highlights that cases of flu were detected and four people had to be admitted for this disease.
