Coronavirus in Peru | Áncash: A 104-year-old man defeated COVID-19 and is released from the Chimbote hospital

Amid applause from the medical staff who treated him, a 104-year-old man left EsSalud Hospital III on Saturday in Chimbote, in the region Áncash, after remaining hospitalized for 21 days and defeating new coronavirus.

The patient, a chimpanzee fisherman who in his youth was an excellent footballer, has eight children, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who are celebrating their recovery today.

The patient was born on February 3, 1916. He was an excellent athlete and played in popular soccer clubs in Chimbote and he demonstrated his quality defending the shirt of the national team.
