Under the state of emergency extended until July 31 to stop the coronavirus, with a focused quarantine, the Executive Power ordered the suspension of all kinds of social gatherings that imply concentration or agglomeration of people.
According to Supreme Decree N 116-2020-PCM Published in the official newspaper El Peruano, parades, patron festivals, civil and religious activities are suspended, as well as all kinds of gatherings, social, political, cultural or other events that involve crowds that put public health at risk.
Likewise, during the state of emergency, the Executive ordered the continuation of the total closure of the borders, for which reason the international transport of passengers by land, air, sea or river continues to be suspended, except for humanitarian reasons and in accordance with the rules and conditions. toilets that passengers must follow.
The norm also indicates that the transport of cargo and merchandise is not included within this temporary closure.
Meanwhile, the competent authorities may issue provisions in order to guarantee priority attention for the entry of products of basic health necessity and all those required in order to attend to the health emergency caused by the new coronavirus.
The state of emergency decreed to stop the expansion of the new coronavirus was extended until July 31, in order to keep the measures issued to safeguard the life and health of Peruvians firmly, including the mandatory isolation order o curfew from 10:00 pm to 04:00 am from Monday to Sunday.
