The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Thursday that during the last 24 hours 23 deaths and 2,401 new positive cases for coronavirus were registered. With this data, the total number of infected in the whole country amounts to 57,744 and the fatal victims number 1,207.

Of the total of these cases, 1,062 (1.8%) are imported, 20,807 (36%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 24,743 (42.8%) are cases of community circulation, and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.

Since the last report issued, 15 new deaths were recorded. Ten men, seven of 86, 60, 72, 86, 60, 67 and 68, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; three of 50, 83, and 91 years, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); and five women, two 67 and 89 years old, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; three of 92, 86 and 85 years, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA). At the moment the number of deceased is 1,207.

In the morning report there were 8 new deaths: six men, two 44 and 31 years old, from the province of Buenos Aires; four of 75, 77, 91 and 81 years, from the city; and two women, 72 and 77 years old, residents in the province of Buenos Aires.
