“Lord of the Rings” series makers are looking for scar faces – cinema

The “Lord of the Rings” series makers cast people with unusual or even wacky looks. Overbite, scars or acne are in great demand.

For the “Lord of the Rings” series, a New Zealand acting agency is looking for “atypical” faces. The company that is responsible for the casting of the new Amazon series looks at people with striking physical properties who want to play a supporting role.

“We are looking for people with overbite, face burns, long or thin limbs and deep cheekbones,” says a Facebook ad. Acne scars, protruding ears, thick or interesting noses, small or large eyes, general malformations and missing limbs are also in demand.

“Tag your ‘funky’ looking friends”

The Argentine boss of BGT Actors Models & Talent explains in an attached video that people who are too beautiful should mark their “funky” looking friends. Some Facebook users have already followed this call. However, the agency is only looking for people who live in New Zealand. Unfortunately, you cannot register your friends.

Shooting is scheduled to resume next month after a Corona break. The series takes place thousands of years before the “Lord of the Rings” books. The first season is scheduled for 2021 with 20 episodes on Amazon Prime.
