Coronavirus grade advancement: 2,400 medical students will advance grade to attend coronavirus | 6AM Today for Today

Gustavo Quintero, dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad del Rosario and president of the Colombian Association of Faculties of Medicine, explained that since April 1 and, during the whole month will advance the degrees of 2,400 medical students so they can help in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.

He said that these new doctors can go to work in general medicine and pointed out that it could free others healthcare professionals so they go to more advanced sectors.

“I am sure they are willing and ready to serve,” he reiterated.
