The fear is that more people will die. According to the home management, there are currently five seniors in Würzburg clinics, another ten have been tested positive for the virus and are being isolated in their rooms in the home.

A strict ban on visits has been in force since March 12. Residents are no longer allowed to leave their rooms. Nurses and cleaners only go to the patient rooms in protective suits and breathing masks.

Because infected personnel have to remain temporarily in quarantine at home, employees from other facilities of the home owner are deployed in the house, said the home manager. How the virus got into the facility can no longer be traced.
According to the state office, an evacuation of the home is “currently not advisable for technical reasons”.
All deceased are said to have had previous illnesses and to have been over 80 years old.
