The Hamburg Senate has postponed a decision on further corona easing. A Senate spokesman announced this on Friday evening at the request of NDR-90.3. He did not give any reasons.
It was originally announced that a decision would be made on Friday. Since Friday has to be outdoors in Hamburg no more masks are worn. However, the prerequisite is that sufficient distance can be maintained, as the Senate announced on Thursday. The mask requirement applies outdoors only at weekly markets, in queues in front of shops, restaurants and on tourist city tours.
Mask compulsory indoors
A medical mask must still be worn indoors, at religious events, when shopping, in cultural institutions, at sporting events and any other event in closed rooms – this also applies to schools.
