He Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Daniel Gollán, spoke today about the increase of coronavirus infections in the AMBA area and he assured: “If it follows this rhythm, the intensive care beds may be collapsed in the province of Buenos Aires in the second half of August.”
Gollán, in dialogue with El Destape Radio, warned that “if the contagion curve grows to 30% in mid-August, it can saturate the health system “and he clarified that the curve had never slowed down, but the growth rate had slowed down but stated that in recent weeks” it accelerated again. “
In this sense, he explained that between “Thursday and Friday” the figures of the last 15 days will be analyzed to determine if “recommendations are made to close” the recently allowed activities and return to a strict quarantine.
