Confinement. Download the new exceptional travel certificate

New confinement, new certificate (to download by following this link). The inhabitants of Paris and Ile-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Eure, Seine-Maritime and Alpes-Maritimes will have to deal with a new document to move from this Saturday March 20, 2021 and for at least four weeks.

Prime Minister Jean Castex announced it on Thursday March 18 during the weekly update on the Covid-19. “Concretely, it will be possible to leave home to walk, breathe out or play sports during the day without any time limit, but with a certificate and on the condition of staying within a radius of 10 km around your home. “ for the inhabitants of sixteen departments affected by this new confinement intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.

Document unique

The new exceptional travel certificate is unique, common to the confinement period, between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., and the curfew period, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Proof of identity can be requested.

Failure to comply with these measures may result in a fine of € 135, increased to € 375, for a first offense. In the event of a repeat offense within 15 days, the fine will be increased to € 200, or even € 450 (in the event of non-payment or non-dispute within the period indicated on the notice of violation). After 3 offenses in 30 days: a fine of € 3,750 punishable by 6 months’ imprisonment.

As a reminder, here is the list of the departments concerned by the reconfinement: Eure, Seine-Maritime, Paris, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val -d’Oise, Aisne, Nord, Oise, Pas-de-Calais, Somme and Alpes-Maritimes.

As regards people residing in departments that are not subject to reinforced measures, they cannot enter those subject to strict health provisions, unless they reside on the edge of a department subject to confinement.

In areas not affected by the re-containment, the curfew is still in order. However, a few changes come into effect this Saturday. The curfew now begins at 7 p.m. in order to anticipate the change to daylight saving time on March 28. As for the exemptions, they remain the same as those provided for in the current curfew certificate.
