Chronology of the husband’s Pergoki wife being alone with another man in the room, the man was stabbed to death

KOMPAS.com – A man in the District Rokan Hulu (Rohul) Riau, named Musrizal (21), was stabbed to death by his own friend with the initials SR (27).

The victim was stabbed by the perpetrator because he was caught in the middle of his wife in the room.

The incident occurred in Kota Lama Village, Kuto Darussalam District, Rohul, Riau, Thursday (18/3/2021).

The incident began when the perpetrator, who had just returned from work Thursday morning, called his wife. However, the wife did not answer.

Intrigued, the perpetrator then headed for the room and found the door to the room locked from the inside. SR then banged on it but his wife did not answer either.

Suspicious, he then took a knife and broke the door to the room. And sure enough, at that time he saw his wife with the victim.

The perpetrator who was emotional then immediately stabbed the victim’s stomach to make him badly injured.

Residents who knew about the incident immediately contacted the police. The police who received the report went straight to the scene.

“The victim at that time was found covered in blood. Then, the victim was taken to the puskesmas to be given medical treatment,” said Public Relations Officer of Rohul Ipda Police, Refly Setiawan Harahap to Kompas.com through a written statement, Saturday (20/3/2021).

But unfortunately, at the puskesmas the victim’s life could not be saved.

The perpetrator was arrested

After the incident, the police immediately arrested the perpetrator for questioning.

To the police, said Refly, the perpetrator was determined to stab the victim to death because he was hurt when he saw the victim and his wife in the room.

“The motive of the suspect is sick with the victim. Because at that time the suspect caught the victim together with the suspect’s wife in a room in the victim’s house which was locked from the inside,” he said.

“He also did not fight back or try to run away after carrying out the action against the victim,” continued Refly as quoted from TribunPekanbaru.com.

Currently, the perpetrator has been secured at the Kunto Darussalam Police Headquarters along with a knife that the perpetrator used when stabbing the victim.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged under Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code for acts of maltreatment that caused the victim to die.
