The creators say that there are no analogues to the drone in the world

The ACE ONE drone is capable of carrying up to a ton of weapons and reaching speeds of up to 1000 km / h, the creators say.

At the exhibition Arms and Security – 2021 in Kiev on Tuesday, June 15, a new Ukrainian combat drone ACE ONE was presented. Ukrinform.

“There have never been such drones either in Ukraine or in the world. In its class of combat drones that can carry weapons up to 1 ton, ACE ONE is number 1. It is developed on the basis of the latest technologies – Stealth. Thanks to this, as well as its own the shape of a flat wing, the drone is virtually invisible to radars and is difficult to calculate. The speed of ACE ONE is close to supersonic. It is 1000 km / h. The control is carried out using an artificial intelligence system that can control a swarm of such drones, “said one of the designers and leaders project Alexander Los.

Co-director of the project Volodymyr Usov noted that the drone is intended for the defense of the airspace of Ukraine.

“If, for example, a reconnaissance drone flies into the territory of Ukraine, ACE ONE, which is much faster and more powerful in all characteristics, approaches it and destroys it. Also, ACE ONE is used to quickly dash into enemy territory, perform an operation and return to a ground station.” – explained Usov.

It is noted that 25 Ukrainian scientists and specialists in the field of the aerospace industry worked on the development of the UAV. The chief designers of the project are the former president of the Antonov State Enterprise Alexander Los and the former head of the SSAU, a member of the International Academy of Cosmonautics Vladimir Usov.

As reported, at the end of May, representatives of the command of the Airborne Assault Forces experienced ground dronesmade in Ukraine – Ironclad, Laska 2.0 and RSVK-M Okhotnik. The tests took place in the Zhytomyr region.
