A young policewoman intervened to protect a mother with two children who was returning home to Collatino. The woman was attacked and beaten by a man in an evident state of agitation. It happened this morning at 11.30, in via Pisino corner of via della Serenissima. A patrol from the Sant’Ippolito police station intervened after the arrival of numerous reports at the operations center that spoke of a foreign, harassing and aggressive, screaming in the street and bothering all passers-by, frightening them.
The steering wheel arrived just as the man, later a result of Ghana, was approaching, yelling and waving his hands towards the mother with the two children. The police officer rushed out of the car and threw herself in front of the woman with the children, to shield her. But she was hit by a punch in the face and a hard slap. He reacted by trying to repel more assaults. At the same time, a second policeman who was on the wheel also intervened to stop the man. There was a quick scuffle, and in the end Adam Hebib, born in ’78, multi-prejudiced, already reached by an expulsion decree, was arrested.
The police officer was taken to hospital: severe pain from the fracture of the nasal septum. Hebib will be put on trial to validate the arrest.
