Jakarta: Nintendo Switch has a big influence on the gaming business. Now more and more are releasing handheld gaming devices. Recently, Logitech, which is known as a peripheral brand, will also produce similar devices.
Logitech has been focused on providing gaming peripherals or accessories for a long time, but has never been able to produce mainstream gaming devices. Now they want to work with Tencent to design it.

Different from a similar device called the Steam Deck made by Valve. Steam designed the games in it to be played locally or downloaded and installed like a PC or gaming laptop.
Reportedly, the two companies have established communication with Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now to provide a cloud gaming catalog so that it can be subscribed and accessed via this device.
In 2020, Tencent has registered a patent for its handheld gaming design. It is not known why they did not continue the project. Even though the Nintendo Switch is currently still the sole player in the handheld gaming market.
Unlike the Nintendo Switch, devices made by Logitech and Tencent will look more like a Stream Deck and a PSP or PS Vita. So the controller can’t be removed from the screen like the Joycon Nintendo Switch.
If Logitech is serious enough to realize this plan, it is likely that its handheld gaming device will be different from the design patented by Tencent two years ago.
