Close Walmart due to cases of employees with coronavirus


Walmart temporarily closed its Neighborhood Market in Casa View Shopping Center, located at Gus Thomasson Road and Ferguson Road, due to which some employees have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The store has just closed at 2 p. m. this Friday, June 18 and will reopen on Sunday 20 then that “specialists are an independent group” to disinfect the store, reported the spokesperson of Walmart, Anne Hatfield.

The spokeswoman would not say how many employees were infected, but said it was a “small number”.

“Because the Dallas area is experiencing an increase in cases of covid-19, we are taking the proactive measure to temporarily close” the store, ” said Hatfield.

For the re-opening of the store located at 2275 Gus Thomasson Road, the shelves will be restocked in time, he said.
