The Regional Blood Donation Center again made an urgent call this Friday to citizens to donate blood, especially types A- and 0-, given the shortage of reserves in Murcia hospitals.
Specifically, the Center points out that blood levels are more critical in the case of 0-, which is why it calls for donating blood of this type urgently. For its part, type A- blood can be made in 2 or 3 days.
The requirements to donate are to be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos, reside in Spain and be in good health. Those interested can do so at the fixed points set up for this purpose, located at the Regional Hemodonation Center, located at Paseo de Garay, 2, Murcia, until 8:30 p.m.; and also at the Santa María del Rosell hospital, in Cartagena, until 2 p.m.
In addition, this Friday blood extractions are carried out at the mobile points installed in the Ikea cafeteria, until 2:00 p.m., and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and at the Roldán medical office, in Torre Pacheco, and the Jumilla health center, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
