THE friendship between Lundy, one Chihuahua two-month-old who can’t walk, and Herman, a pigeon who can’t fly, went viral. In about 24 hours, the images of these two unlikely friends were viewed by more than five million people.
The unlikely friendship was made known by The Mia Foundation – Love For Mia, through social networks, which says that the dog was born with spinal problems that prevent him from walking. Due to these health problems, Lundy he was taken to a vet in New York, where he met his new best friend, who has lived at that vet for some time.
Since they met, the two animals never left, says the foundation that helps and protects animals with special needs. However, when Lundy recovering is expected to be adopted and, indicating that the friendship is more likely to end.
Still, thanks to the friendship established by The Mia Foundation – Love For Mia, it managed to raise several funds that will be used to help other animals like Lundy and Herman.
