Chenove and Dijon. Urban violence and rocking against a Divia bus and police vehicles: three individuals arrested

Several episodes of urban violence took place Tuesday afternoon in the Dijon agglomeration. First around 3 p.m. in Chenove. While a municipal police crew was traveling rue Ernest-Renan, the vehicle was stoned several times. For these facts, a 21-year-old man was arrested and placed in police custody. It turns out that the young man had already spent several hours in police custody on Sunday for drug trafficking (he had come out with a criminal order).

The individual, originally from Seine-Saint-Denis, was brought before the prosecution on Wednesday and then tried. He was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended on probation for two years. In particular, he was prohibited from entering Burgundy for five years.

A police patrol and a Divia bus attacked

Also on Tuesday, at 5.24 p.m., two windows of a Divia bus were shattered in the Fontaine d’Ouche district of Dijon, following a cobblestone. If no injuries are to be deplored, Divia has decided that the L3 and Corol lines will make their terminus at the Bachelard stop and will no longer go until the end of the service beyond the Intermarché. A police patrol which was on the spot was also the target of a stoning, without there being material or physical damage. The police managed to arrest a 14-year-old boy.

A few minutes later, new stoning wiped by the police and new arrest. This time, it’s a 16-year-old who joined his comrade in police custody. Both received a summons before the prosecutor’s delegate for criminal reparation for these facts.
