Tomorrow, Wednesday, the reopening of its official store, the Stamford Bridge hotel, the team museum and the tour of the stadium

The sale to the North American consortium directed by Todd Boehly calms the waters regarding the future of the blues

Once the sale of the team to the consortium led by billionaire Todd Boehly has been completed, Chelsea will return to normal starting this Wednesday, with the reopening of its official store, the Stamford Bridge hotel, the team museum and the stadium tour.

The operation was completed this Monday and the consortium thus took control of the English entity that until now was in the hands of the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, sanctioned for his links with the Vladimir Putin regime, for a record figure estimated at 4,250 million pounds (4,989 million euros).

Chelsea, once separated from Abramovich, owner of the club since 2003, will be able to return to normal activities that had been frozen since March. Thus, the official club store will be reopened and merchandising will be able to be sold again. Tickets can also be purchased for the team museum and for the stadium tour, as well as for the hotel housed in one of the Stamford Bridge funds.

Once the season resumes, Chelsea will be able to sell tickets for all matches, without limitations. You will also be able to operate without a spending limit for matches played away from home and at Stamford Bridge.

Also, days before the transfer market reopens, the club will be able to renew players, sell and buy new footballers, which seems to be a priority due to the confirmed departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger and the more than probable ones of César Azpilicueta and Romelu Lukaku.

Thus ends the nightmare that began for Chelsea in March, when Abramovich’s assets were frozen due to his relationship with Putin and the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine.
