sport">It was the Norwegian Bergens Tidende that brought the story out first. After Thursday’s training, part of the SK Brann squad went out for dinner. Twelve players then felt like an ‘after’ and went to a nightclub. There they met four ladies, who were taken to the Brann Stadium. There, according to the newspaper, “playing activities took place on the field and in the locker room”, in front of the surveillance cameras.

sport">The club has responded to the incident on its website. “The police launched an investigation on Friday to check whether any criminal offenses had taken place. The club is cooperating to get to the bottom of everything,” it sounds. “We realize that there are rumors about the use of illegal drugs, we will also test the players ourselves,” added Vilbeke Johannesen, Brann’s general manager.

sport">The fans were also not at all happy with the activities of their players next to (and on) the field. Before last weekend’s game against Sandjeford, a banner was hung on the stadium with ‘SCUM’ on it, which in English means something like ‘scum’. In the end, Brann did win the match, 3-2.
