There is an interesting story over Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. Franco Morbidelli must “hijack” the police motorbike so as not to be late at the airport.
Morbidelli comeback from starting in 14th place (after the absence of Marc Marquez) to finish seventh in the race at Pertamina Street Circuit, Sunday (20/3/2022). The Italian was 21 seconds away from race winner Miguel Oliveira and five strips away from team mate Fabio Quartararo.
MotoGP Mandalika The event itself was very lively even though it was delayed due to rain and lightning. At least 60 thousand fans watched the action of Morbidelli and others.
Like holding major events in general, traffic problems will accompany. The roads on the island of Lombok have become very congested. Even though the Yamaha rider was scheduled to fly back to Italy on the same day.
Fortunately a police officer came and offered a ride to the Yamaha rider. The funny thing is Morbidelli took over the motorcycle so that the policeman actually became a passenger. Thus it was reported GPOne.

The fans in Indonesia are amazing and there are so many! It’s great to see there is so much love for MotoGP !” Morbidelli wrote on his Instagram account @frankymorbido.
After Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia in Mandalika, Franco Morbidelli must get ready to take part in the third series of MotoGP 2022 in Argentina on April 3.
