Celeste believed that the interruption of pregnancy up to a thousand days is debated

It happened this afternoon on the first day of exhibitions that began in the Senate, after the half-sanction that the Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy obtained in deputies.

One of the anti-rights exhibitors had a curious confusion. Edgardo Young, specialist in assisted fertilization, said in his speech: “When I have seen that the legal termination of pregnancy is dated 1000 days, I never understood and no one explained to me why it is 1000 days”. The specialist proposed by the celestial ones, demonstrated not to have the smaller idea of the projects that are being debated, confusing the one of the Voluntary Interruption of the Pregnancy with the one of the “1000 days”. Then continued “For me, human life begins in the fertilization process (…) and when cell multiplication begins, a new being will develop there. Is it a person? It is not a person yet, surely, but it is a person in power”.

Although both projects were discussed and approved in the same session last week in deputies, they are independent. The “Plan of 1000 days” is aimed at the care of pregnant people in vulnerable situations

The government of Alberto Fernández proposed that they be treated at the same time, seeking with the “Plan of 1000 days” to make a nod to the churches and the celestial. The function of this project would be to create a series of allowances, for example one per Pregnancy for social protection on a monthly basis, from the 12th week of gestation until the end of the pregnancy. Another allocation of Comprehensive Health Care, which would consist of the payment of an annual amount.

The round of exhibitors that began this Tuesday in two shifts, had a total of 20 guests (10 in favor and 10 against). However, it does not seem that the celestial exhibitors are interested in discussing the projects, since they did not even bother to read them.
