The wife of the defendant in the case matter management bribe at the Supreme Court (MA) Dadan Tri Yudianto, Riris Riska Diana, revealed about Hermes and Dior bags for Windy Yunita Bastari Usman or Windy Idol. Riris said he found out about it from an Instagram (IG) post.
Riris is a celebrity and wife of Dadan Tri Yudianto. The bag he said he gave to Windy was bought when he and Dadan were in Singapore.
The prosecutor initially asked about Riris and Dadan’s activities in Singapore in June 2022. The prosecutor asked whether or not they had purchased three luxury bags in Singapore.
“Is it true that when you were going for a walk, you were asked by the defendant Dadan Tri Yudianto to buy three bags?” the prosecutor asked Riris, who was questioned as a witness in the corruption case with defendant Dadan Tri and inactive MA Secretary Hasbi Hasan at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (19/12/2023).
“That’s right,” answered Riris.
Riris explained that the three bags she bought consisted of two Hermes brand bags and one Dior brand bag. The KPK prosecutor then asked whether Riris knew why Dadan Tri asked him to buy the three bags.
“What is the total of the three bags in rupiah?” asked the prosecutor.
“Approximately IDR 200 (million),” answered Riris.
“Rp. 250 million. What’s the purpose of your husband buying a bag?” asked the prosecutor.
“My husband bought it for me so I could choose the bag to take home,” said Riris.
“Were you told that the purpose of this bag is for you as a wife or for someone else?” said the prosecutor.
“At that time, my husband asked me to buy a bag. I didn’t know what the purpose was,” said Riris.
Riris said that the bag was not at home. He then found out that the three bags he bought were actually used by Windy Idol. He discovered this while undergoing examination as a witness at the Corruption Eradication Commission.
“What do you mean, the KPK people told you or your husband told you?” asked the prosecutor.
“Permission, at that time, when the incident happened at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), I was summoned as a witness. At that time, in January, I read the news that my husband had been banned coincidentally with Brother Windy. I thought my husband knew Brother Windy. At that time I saw Brother Windy’s IG and I “I saw a bag that I bought at that time because it happened to not be at home, and said it was for a friend. At that time it was similar to the one Windy was wearing,” explained Riris.
