Celebrity of Snapchat Yara Al-Namla Sparks Controversy over Veil Comments

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The celebrity of Snapchat, Yara Al-Namla, said that she is not veiled, explaining that she does not wear the veil categorically, but what she does is only modesty.

And she indicated during an interview with the podcast that she is very keen to inform the companies that contract with her for advertisements, of the fact that she is not veiled, pointing out that she does not like to have an opportunity that is the right of another blogger who is actually veiled.

Yara’s statements sparked controversy on social media, and she was criticized, while tweeters said that wearing the veil or not is a personal issue.
