A “gossip documentary” a key Royal Palace employee called the documentary “The Princess and the Press.” The two-part broadcast would expose the troubled bond between Prince William and his brother Prince Harry. According to insiders, it would become clear how the two – or their employees – tried to blacken each other in the press. A sensitive subject for the princes, who were able to stop a similar story before.
So sensitive, it turns out, that the palace chooses to flee ahead and threatens a boycott against the BBC.
