Muscat: A cargo ship caught fire in the sea of ​​Oman. The fire broke out on a cargo ship bound for Somalia.

The fire broke out in Hasik Niabat region of Dhofar Governorate. There were 11 crew on board. The Royal Oman Police informed that all 11 Indians were rescued by the Omanis. One person has minor injuries. Others are in good health. All the people were rescued and given necessary treatment.

Muscat: Three people arrested with drugs in Oman. 70 kg of drugs were seized in Khuriyat province. The Royal Oman Police informed that two Asian nationals were arrested. They were caught by the Coast Guard Police Command from near Khuriyat. 29 kg of crystal meth and 47 kg of hashish were seized. Legal proceedings against the accused are in progress.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority said 117,000 Captagon pills and more than 6,000 grams of shabu were seized. Narcotics were found hidden in two trucks that crossed the border into the country. 117,210 Captagon pills were found hidden in various parts of a truck. In another incident in Al Bata, 6,170 grams of shabu was hidden inside a fire extinguisher in a truck. Three people were arrested in the incident.
