Ravels –
After a chase from the Netherlands, a BMW M5 crashed on Friday evening around 9 pm at Geeneinde in Weelde (Ravels). The fleeing car first landed on the shoulder and eventually came to a halt, heavily battered, at a traffic controller in the middle of the road.

According to the first findings, three people were on board. They immediately fled further on foot. A police helicopter had tracked down the three quite quickly, after which they were arrested. Geeneinde remained closed to traffic for hours during the observations.
The Dutch police will communicate later today about the reason for the chase. It may be the perpetrators of a homejacking that was committed earlier in the evening in Tilburg (Netherlands).
