After trying to escape and hiding for two weeks, Luis Eduardo Pérez Ibáñez was detained, accused of having murdered his mother and buried in a pot in his home.
Officials from Cicpc, from the Homicide Investigations Division, together with the Ambrosio Plaza Municipality Police (Poliplaza), arrested Pérez (26), in the Oropeza Castillo urbanization, Dos Plantas sector, in Guarenas, Miranda state.
The victim, Kiutt Teresa Ibáñez (54), was a stylist and was found dead on Friday, July 31, at her residence, located in the Carpintero sector, El Puente street, Petare parish in the Sucre municipality.
Pérez, a former Yare inmate, took his mother’s life to keep the house and a revolver she had.
The detainee today searched for three people –identified as Franyelis, Alexandra and Alejandro– to kill him with the firearm and then proceed to bury her in the pot, which he covered with cement.
The accomplices are being sought by the cicpc, reported the detective body through the social networks of Commissioner Douglas Rico.
The case, for the investigators, began after receiving a complaint from relatives of the fifty-year-old, stating that they had not seen her for days, they moved to Kiutt’s house, where they observed, in the back of the house, a A pot covered with cement, so they decided to break it and found the woman’s body, reporting it to the authorities.
The scientific police verified that the victim lived with her son, who had been released from a penitentiary for two months for kidnapping.
As the days passed and Kiutt did not appear, he told the relatives that his mother was hospitalized at the CDI La Suiza Comprehensive Diagnostic Center, located in the San Blas de Petare sector, since she had tested positive for covid-19 and would be transferred to the Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital. He lied so that they would not suspect the absence of the stylist
When the “theater” fell, the homicide experts carried out technical scientific expertise and determined that the criminal wanted to seize the home and the revolver, Rexio brand, caliber 38 SPL, owned by his mother.
