A Coruña and Ourense are among the cities where the number of rental homes has decreased the most in the first quarter of 2023. Specifically, the offer has fallen by 12% and 14% respectively so far this year.
The supply of homes for rent in Spain has been reduced 5% during the first quarter of 2023according to a study published by Idealista, which indicates that the volume of rental homes offered is at its lowest since 2016.
In Galicia, the cities that experience decreases in supply are Ourense with 14% less and A Coruña with 12.5% less. In Lugo y PontevedraOn the other hand, the figures are positive: 18% and 1% more respectively.

In the rest of the territory, the reduction is 27% in Málagafrom 24% in Palmafrom 23% in Guadalajarafrom 22% in Santa Cruz of Tenerife and 20% in Saint Sebastian, Bilbao y Soria. Alicante, Madrid y Valencia have 19% fewer rents, while in The Gran Canarian palms stands at 15%. they follow Melilla with 13% less; León, with 10%; and Barcelonawhich also suffers a 9% drop.
On the contrary, there are increases in Jaenwith an increase of 100%, followed by Gironawith 82%, Córdoba (75%) Huesca (68%) y Castellon (64%). Below 50% increase are Lleida (35%), Tarragona (32%), Vitoria (29%), badajoz (23%), Cuenca (22%) y caceres (22%).
