A 59-year-old man was beaten and threatened with a pistol on Friday in Kreuzlingen (TG) during an altercation with three individuals who had previously assaulted his daughter. The accused were then arrested by the police, who fired a shot.
Cantonal police in Thurgau said on Sunday that a suspect, a 25-year-old Albanian, was carrying a pistol before being arrested. A 19-year-old Algerian and a 29-year-old Albanian were also arrested. No one was hurt. The weapon was found.
The Kreuzlingen Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal investigation to find out the exact circumstances of the altercation. The young woman said she was attacked by three men on Friday evening. She recognized the alleged perpetrators in the presence of her father shortly after 10:30 p.m. at Kreuzlingen station. (Ps / nxp)
