The ambassador noted that the Donald Trump government has issued a level 4 travel alert, which expressly states “do not travel.” In addition, he asked residents of Mexico to “seriously consider their personal situation” and thereby evaluate their permanence in this country.
Through a short video posted on his social media, the ambassador noted: “If you are a resident in Mexico, please think carefully about your personal situation, and if you will need the type of intensive care that is available in the United States.”
Likewise, the ambassador informed his compatriots who are in Mexico that on March 31 he will hold a videoconference to answer questions and doubts in real time; In addition, it made an emergency telephone line available to tourists.
