The Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye has announced that it has reopened its domain for visitors on June 6, 2020, to the delight of families and Sunday walkers … The opportunity to discover this immense domain before the next reopening of the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye – National Archeology Museum.

Do you want to go for a walk and enjoy the sunny days? We’re going towards National domain of Saint-Germain-en-Laye which has been welcoming visitors to the great outdoors since June 6, 2020. From 8 a.m., regulars of jogging and other sportspeople were able to reclaim the premises while respecting the sanitary measures enacted by the government and recalled by the Domain of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Built in the 12th century by the king Louis VI the Fat, the Castle of Saint-Germain-en-Laye is first of all a fortress in height, on a high site sheltered from attacks.
