Police are looking for two armed suspects who beat up a 36-year-old food delivery driver and then stole his food and $5 over the weekend in Brooklyn, according to authorities.
The victim was delivering food to a building in Lefferts Avenuearound 9:20 p.m. Saturday, when the two suspects cornered him in the lobby, according to surveillance and police footage.
The two displayed firearms and beat the worker before stealing the food and cash, along with his phone, authorities said. The worker chased them out of the building, at which point one of the two suspects fired a gun in his direction.
The victim was not struck by the bullet and refused medical attention at the scene, authorities said. The suspects fled.
