Busy night for the police – VG

Party noise, stabbing, urination, fights and large gatherings of people. The night has been hectic for the police around the country.

– The level of intoxication is reasonably high.

This is what operations manager in the Oslo police district Sven Christian Lie told VG the night before Sunday after that 2000 gathered in St. Hanshaugen park in Oslo.

Throughout most of the night, the police have been present with several police cars. There are first and foremost challenges with regard to noise, says Lie.

At 2.30 the area was about to be emptied of people, Lie informed NTB.

Just before three o’clock they could report that around 200 Russians had gathered at Nedre Foss farm.

– We have stopped the music and calmed down, the police wrote on Twitter.

Stabbing

04.07 the South-East police district reported that a man is stabbed in Sandefjord.

– When the police arrived at the scene, all five people, including the injured, were there, says operations manager Erik Gunnerød to VG.

– The person in question is not life-threateningly injured. He has been taken to hospital.

Two people have now been arrested and are being taken to the police station in Tønsberg.

In addition to this incident, Gunnerød can inform that they have received 60 noise messages during the night.

– We have not had any serious incidents, except for this stabbing, but we have received 60 noise reports in addition to 14-15 complaints about the Russians.

Party and noise

In the Eastern police district, the night has not been particularly calm either:

– It is very hectic, Finn Håvard Aas told VG at 1.30 on Saturday night.

– There are a lot of complaints about parties and noise, and a lot of assignments.

At 05.40 they reported that there were around 10-30 russ fighting at a McDonals in Ullensaker.

– By the time the police arrived, the fighting had stopped. The patrol notes what has happened.

The West police district was able to report that during 2.5 hours on Sunday night, they received 26 reports of loud partying that disturbed the night’s peace.

– The police drive continuously to different addresses, but unfortunately do not reach all complaints, the police wrote on Twitter.

An hour later, the number was raised to 34.

The inland police district wrote on Twitter shortly after half past three that they had logged 24 missions with disturbances of the night calm and loud music.

Møre og Romsdal police district could also report party noise in Ørsta on Sunday night. No report was made, but the police were on the scene and had the party closed.

Fight

In Gvarv, the police in the Southeast could report that 10-15 people were involved in a fight.

No one was seriously injured, but two people were taken to the emergency room for a check. A car window has been smashed. The reason is said to have been a conflict earlier in the evening, the police write on Twitter.

In Bergen, a fight broke out in a hotel room. Several people are said to have been involved, and one person has been arrested and taken into custody. The West police district could report this on Twitter.

Would not move away

In Hønefoss, the police report that two men in their 20s had used the square as a toilet.

– Two men in their 20s are reported for having urinated openly in the square in the center, the South-East police district wrote on Twitter a little before one o’clock on Sunday night.

The same police district could also report that there had been a bit of an atmosphere in Tinn after a man in his teens refused to leave the place, which resulted in a report of not following the police order.

The same thing happened in the Inland police district, where a man refused to be expelled after behaving badly and scratching a policeman to blood on his arm.
