On the morning of the 20th of this month, a security killing took place at a steel plant in the town of Haksu (Aqsu), a city in the northern Kazakh state of Pavlodar. A maintenance technician at a steel mill was burned by furnace flames while overhauling the conveyor system: engulfed in fuel, the entire person was burned alive.
According to a report by the Kazakh state news agency Kazinform, the incident occurred on the morning of the 20th local time. According to information released later, the man technician was standing next to the furnace to operate the tools. It is suspected that he was burned by the flames and fell, and then the flames came out of the furnace in great quantity. He actually rolled into the furnace full of flames like this, and the flames exploded in an instant, engulfing him completely. After seeing this, other nearby workers were so scared that they all ran away, and no one could save him.
The factory later confirmed on its Instagram page that the deceased was a mechanical repairman. At that time, because the conveyor belt equipment was being repaired at the site, the accident happened unexpectedly. The rescue failed and he died.
