The press secretary of the Holy See, Mateo Bruni, announced that the 86-year-old pope has not contracted Covid-19, but he has had difficulty breathing in recent days.
Francis went to the hospital today, where he underwent tests that revealed a lung infection that will require treatment for a couple of days.
