Information that has been confirmed to us by a police source.
According to the first elements, the criminals, armed with at least two long weapons, burst into the business where they first beat the security guard. They then grabbed as many jewels as possible inside. A few seconds later, they came out and fled on two motorcycles towards Place de la Concorde. One of the thugs was notably equipped with a police armband. The damage is not yet established.

Previous crooks were described as ‘solid customers’
In September 2021, the robbers of the same jewelry store left with nearly 10 million euros in jewelry. Spectacular loot snatched up in broad daylight, weapons in hand, in an ultra-secure Paris which was about to see the start of the trial for the November 13 attacks.
A little less than a year later, two suspects were arrested by the BRB of Paris. Aged 37 and 26, the two men were from, like the suspect who had already been arrested and indicted in this case, from sensitive areas of Seine-Saint-Denis. Both were described as “solid customers” and professional.
