John N. Marvin II was charged on suspicion of killing his sister by hitting her several times with a frying pan as she sat next to their father at a home in Erwin, Steuben County, New York.
According to the New York State Police (NYSP), local authorities responded to a 911 call about a home invasion on Tuesday afternoon and upon arrival found a woman with serious injuries. The victim was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where he died the next day. the station reported WENY News.
Yesterday, at a press conference, NYSP identified the deceased as Heather L. Moran, 60who At the time of the attack he was visiting his elderly father at his brother’s house.

Marvin II, 59, has no criminal record and is currently being held in the Steuben County Jail without bond. State police did not provide any details about what led up to the attack.
All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
