Britney Spears ended rumors that she is working on a new album through an Instagram post where she stated that she will “never” return to the music industry.

Spears also said that in recent years she has dedicated herself to writing songs for other artists and that she is currently happy being a “ghostwriter.”

“For those who have read my book, there are a lot of things you don’t know about me… I’ve written over 20 songs for other people in the last two years, I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!” the singer deepened.
