The popular American rock group Panic! at the Disco is ending for good. The breakup was announced by its frontman and in the last five years the only member Brandon Urie on Instagram. He also explained the reasons that led him to do this after almost 20 years on the scene.
After almost 20 years, the American rock band Panic! at the Disco. Its frontman and since 2017 the only member Brendon Urie wants to focus on his family.
“It’s been quite a ride. As a kid from Las Vegas, I never would have thought where life would take me. I mean the places around the world and all the friends we’ve made along the way. But every ride has to come to an end sometimes to could have gone to another one,” Urie said on Instagram.
The popular musician is expecting a baby with his wife Sarah. And according to him, he would not like to spend the first years of his life at work. The group became a solo project in the last five years anyway. Although Urie performed with guests, he did not have permanent partners.
From February to March, Urie will give concerts in European capitals for the last time. “Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just found us, it’s been a pleasure to share that time with you. I look forward to seeing you again in Europe and the UK. I love you, appreciate you and thank you for being ,” he concluded.
