BPJS Ketenagakerjaan will submit data on potential salary subsidy recipients in stages

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The salary subsidy program for employees with salaries below Rp. 5 million will soon roll out. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJamsostek) will immediately submit data on prospective recipients of salary subsidy assistance to the government.

President Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Agus Susanto said that the submission of this data would be carried out in stages.

“In accordance with the discussion, our coordination with the relevant ministries, we will provide this data in stages. So we don’t wait at once, because this is still a process. Validated account number data is ready, we will submit it to be done immediately. payment, “said Agus in a press conference, Friday (21/8).

The government is targeting the recipients of this salary subsidy assistance to be 15.7 million workers. To date, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has 13.6 million account numbers. However, from these account numbers, only 7.5 million account numbers have been validated or have gone through a series of validation processes.

The collected account numbers are validated in layers, so that the beneficiaries are right on target. The first validation stage is carried out with banks, then the validation is carried out internally by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

This internal validation is carried out by selecting according to the criteria of potential recipients of wage subsidy assistance according to Permenaker 14/2020 and the technical guidelines of the Director General of the Ministry of Manpower, then validating the account number and singular data.

“We will submit account data to the Ministry of Manpower in stages. The first stage will be carried out on the fourth week of August 2020,” said Agus.

According to Agus, the deadline for collecting accounts is August 31, 2020 and will continue to be evaluated. After that, he said the president would symbolically hand over the salary subsidy for phase I, both face-to-face and virtually.

The government has prepared a budget of Rp. 37.7 trillion for the salary subsidy assistance program. Recipients of this salary subsidy will receive assistance of IDR 600,000 per month for 4 months. The payment is made in 2 stages or IDR 1.2 million per distribution.
