Five days after she disappeared on a boat ride on a lake, the body of Glee actress Naya Rivera has been found.

The body recovered on Monday in Lake Piru, California, is that of 33-year-old actress Naya Rivera, local police have confirmed at a news conference. The American actress had been missing since Wednesday after a boat trip with her four-year-old son on the lake.
The actress had rented a boat to take a trip on the lake with her son. The boy was found alone on the boat. He said to the authorities that he had gone swimming with his mom, but she had never returned.
The police still assume that the actress drowned, and that there is no violence or suicide. An autopsy will be performed.
Rivera is best known for her role on the series Glee. There she played the cheerleader Santana Lopez from 2009 to 2015. The musical series revolves around a group of young people who start a choir.
